Member Research Spotlight ISMPP U

Thank you

The 2021 European Meeting of ISMPP, Collaboration, Connectivity and Change: A Holistic View of the Scientific Communications Environment in 2021, explored our evolving role at the centre of a complex network in the new environment in which we operate, how the needs of our stakeholders have changed and the impact of COVID-19 as an accelerator of innovation.

Join us for a series of research presentations featuring the Poster Award winners from the recent EU Meeting, plus two additional selected posters. Pertinent topics will be featured – preprints, maximizing publication impact and podcasts for medical educations. Plenty of time will be allotted for questions.

At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  • Be aware of how preprint articles are being used to generate news stories and garner social media attention in the UK
  • Understand the use of MedRxiv preprint server for industry-sponsored research of COVID-19 versus non-COVID-19 research
  • Understand how the combination of open access publication, digital enhancements and collaboration and planning between the publisher and study sponsor can enhance the visibility of a journal publication.
  • Be aware of the use of podcasts as a medium to provide medical education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in different countries.
Approved for 1 ISMPP CMPP certification credit. Please take a screenshot of the title slide.
