Metrics matter: Determining the success of your scientific communication platform

This session will provide an overview of the current state of metrics as a key element of the successful implementation of scientific communication platforms (SCPs). Faculty will discuss:
  • The value of metrics in guiding future updates to the SCP
  • Potential barriers to the establishment of metrics
  • Key differences between qualitative and quantitative assessments related to SCPs
  • Metrics that can be obtained through use of a web-based SCP platform
  • Best practices for assessing and interpreting internal and external focused metrics, based on their own organizational experiences
  • Relevant findings from a survey of the ISMPP membership
