Pertinent topics will be featured – Accurate COnsensus Reporting Document (ACCORD) checklist: a reporting guideline for consensus methods, Customizing patient communications through quantitative and qualitative insights and Comparing readability between AI-generated and human-written plain language abstracts.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this session attendees will:

  • Understand how the ACCORD guideline can improve the completeness and transparency of reporting of consensus studies
  • Comprehend how developing tailored omnichannel communication plans and content development using qualitative and quantitative methodologies can optimize strategies to effectively reach patients, improve shared decision-making, and improve patient outcomes overall
  • Gain understanding of how AI can be used to generate plain language abstracts of scientific content, and how these deliverables compare to human-written PLSs
