This webinar will discuss the complementary role of qualitative and quantitative methods for exploring meaningful change in health outcomes measurement including patient-reported outcomes (PRO) and clinician-reported outcomes (ClinRO). This webinar will present the advantages and disadvantages of mixed methods approaches, present methods for qualitative exploration, and investigate how qualitative data can be amalgamated with quantitative data to aid interpretation of score changes in clinical trials. An industry perspective will be presented to show how qualitative and quantitative data have been successfully combined to identify responder definitions for clinical trial endpoints.
