This webinar will cover traffic flow theory regarding roadways which are typically higher speed and free of traffic signals and pedestrians. The webinar will identify the differences between macroscopic, microscopic and mesoscopic methods for categorizing flow and will also focus on flow, speed, and density and how they are used to represent the traffic stream. These concepts are important building blocks for more detailed analysis using procedures such as those described in the Highway Capacity Manual. Attendees of this webinar are all levels of traffic engineers interested in a fresh look at practical examples of these methods.
