    Mike Whiteaker is the City Transportation Engineer for Lakewood, Colorado. He is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado and a PTOE. He worked previously for the City of Bellevue, Washington and for the Washington State DOT.

  • Peter Koonce, P.E. | City of Portland, OR, USA

    Peter is a licensed engineer in Oregon and several other states. He serves as adjunct faculty at Portland State University teaching upper level transportation engineering courses. He is a member of the National Committee on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

  • Ho Nguyen | City of San Jose, Department of Transportation

    Ho Nguyen is the ITS Manager for the City of San Jose, Department of Transportation. He has been with the City of San Jose for more than 20 years, 17 of those years focused on ITS, traffic signal design and operations. He manages a team of 6 ITS and network engineers, responsible for managing a network of over 950 interconnected traffic signals and communications for 20,000 smart street lights. His current projects include deployment of a central EVP system, pilot testing of central TSP, ATSC deployment at 70+ intersections, and planned ATSPM deployment at 100 intersections.
