Attorney Sandra J. Polin will examine the rights of employees facing
workplace disciplinary actions, including verbal and written warnings,
coaching, performance improvement plans, suspensions, and terminations.
Attorney Polin will discuss ways that the practitioner can be an effective
advocate for the employee early in the disciplinary process. She will also
review tools the practitioner can use to resolve an employee’s claims of
unlawful disciplinary actions, up to and including unlawful termination,
including internal grievance, settlement, and claims brought in federal and
state court.
