In this session, we will review cases where there was an attempt to pierce the corporate veil and discuss the analysis the court engaged in to reach its determination. From this analysis, we will determine ways to protect our clients from losing the liability protections they expect their business entities to provide. What do courts really consider when they are asked to consider piercing the corporate veil and making your clients’ personal assets vulnerable?
