MYC22 Virtual SIG: Small Ticket / Restaurant

Description

The ultimate networking session! Come join the most highly rated sessions of a MAG conference - this Small Ticket / Restaurant merchant-only discussion group - led by merchant leaders - give you an opportunity in a no-pressure environment for an open and honest chat with your peers about what keeps you up at night.

We are excited to offer two different format options for SIG engagement at the Mid-Year Conference 2022:

  • Virtual: To participate in the Virtual SIG a few weeks ahead of the conference, please click the Register button to the right.
  • In-Person: Those traveling to Atlanta will have the opportunity to participate in a live SIG to be held on February 15 from 4:45-5:45pm EST, and February 17 from 8:30-9:30am EST. If you have already registered for the Mid-Year Conference, there is nothing else you need to do to participate in the in-person SIGs! If you haven't yet registered for the Conference, you can do so here.

    Justin is the Head of Payments and Fraud Prevention for Restaurant Brands International (Burger King, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Tim Horton’s). engineering, friendly fraud, account takeover and loyalty fraud. Justin has seven years of fraud prevention experience from a merchant position, tackling challenges such as payment fraud, identity fraud, social community in payments and fraud prevention; serving as a member of the MAG Innovation Committee, MAG TechOps Committee and co-chairing the MAG Small Ticket/Restaurant Special-Interest-Group.

  • Jim DuBoyce | Director of Payments - W. Capra Consulting Group

    With experience in finance, payment operations, risk management, procurement and supply chain management roles in his career, Jim brings a diverse background to W. Capra and his clients. Jim specializes in assisting clients develop their payment acceptance strategy, reduce processing costs, and improving payment operations. His client engagements include major oil companies, convenience store chains, drug stores, quick serve restaurants, specialty retailers, card issuers and online merchants.
