Ken is a Finance professional with over 30 years’ experience in
Treasury/Payments. He joined Wakefern
Food Corp. in July 2007 as Manager of Treasury Services and was promoted to
Director in March 2015. Prior to joining
Wakefern, Ken had a successful 20 year career on Wall Street working in Treasury
for Shearson Lehman Brothers, National Financial Services (Fidelity Investments)
and TD Waterhouse. Ken has a BBA in
Accounting from Pace University in New York City.
Ken has been an active member of the MAG for over 8
years, participating in the MAG Advocacy
& Communications and Collaboration committees, EMV and SRC Communities of
Practice and is currently one of the co-chairs of the Collaboration Committee. He is a co-leader of the SIG Mass Merchant group and has served on MAG panels at
several industry conferences. Ken has also been on the EPS (Electronic Payment Systems) committee for FMI (Food Marketing
Institute) for the past 10+ years and currently serves as the Committee Chair.
Stephanie
manages all operational aspects of payment cards and is responsible for the day
to day processing, payment reconciliation, vendor management and all projects
including alternative payments for CommonSpirit Health. Her strength is
relationship management and serves as the liaison between the organizations
centralized Treasury Department spanning 142 hospitals and 1300+ clinics in 21
states with 1.2 billion in credit card volume. Prior to joining healthcare,
Stephanie had a successful 20 year career in the financial industry with
extensive knowledge in Wealth Management. She holds a bachelor’s of science
degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
Stephanie has
been an active member of MAG since 2019 and an ongoing participant with the
Rising Payments Professionals and Healthcare
Merchant Collaboration Meetings.
Heather Sargeant leads the Banking, Cash Management, and
Accounts Payable teams for Bath & Body Works, responsible for payment processing,
cash collections, and payments. Prior to
leading this department, she managed receivables related to International
Franchise Partners including credit worthiness, billing, and collections. A CPA and auditor for many years, Heather
started with Bath & Body Works (f/k/a L Brands) in the Internal Audit
department after many years with Ernst & Young auditing public and private
companies.
Heather has been active in MAG since Fall of 2017. In recent years she has increased her
participation as a member of the Engagement committee and a co-leader of the
SIG Mass Merchant group.
Heather obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration from The Ohio State University after several years in the field
of Social Work. She also holds a master’s
and bachelor’s in social work from The Ohio State University. Passionate about continuing to use these
skills, Heather served for many years on a non-profit Board and continues to be
activity with many organizations.
Christian gathers and investigates insights into payments trends and leverages those insights to advocate for a fair and competitive payments industry. Christian's core expertise covers digital and alternative payment method growth and, with a global perspective, these insights can cover a meaningful diversity of solutions, ranging from digital wallets, BNPL, open banking, and other disruptive payment methods.
