Thomas Chiang serves as the Strategy Manager - Global Payments & Loyalty for the Fuels Value Chain. He is responsible for identifying and integrating external macro payment trends / capabilities into the EM’s fuels retail channel. Prior to ExxonMobil, Thomas brings over 20 years of payments industry experience including leadership roles in product management, business development, and marketing at American Express, Mastercard, and several Fintechs. Thomas holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas – Austin, and a MBA from Georgetown University.
Joshua Cooper, Sr Manager of Card processing in the
Operations Accounting group for Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores.
Payments Industry Expert with nearly 20 years of Consumer and Commercial
Payments experience. Currently responsible for helping with payments
strategy, reconciliation, cost of acceptance, collections, mobile fraud, and
second level customer service. Since joining Loves Travel Stops in 2005
he has helped to implement fleet and credit card reconciliation processes that
bolster and support store auditing and overall balance sheet
reconciliation. He has also helped to create and roll-out the fleet
collections team as well as work with fleet card partners and IT to support
several initiatives over the years. Over this time Loves has grown to
over 650 locations, with over 1000 QSRs, Hotels, RV Parks and Tire &
Maintenance facilities adding additional complexities to an already complex
environment.
Mike Lindberg is the
Senior Director of Payment Solutions for CHS Inc and the Cenex®
brand. He has more than 25 years of experience
at CHS Inc in Payments and Information Technology. In his current role, Mike is responsible for
all strategic, financial, and operational elements of merchant payment
acceptance and settlement, third party POS software development, payments
testing, and private label consumer, business, fleet, and gift card programs. He leads a cross functional Payment Solutions
team that includes Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Customer
Support. Previously, Mike was the
Director of Information Technology for several lines of business in the CHS
Energy and Business Solutions Divisions.
Mike joined the Merchant Advisory Group Board of Directors in 2023.
Linda Toth is the Managing Director for Conexxus, which is anon-profit, member-driven technology organization.
Conexxus is dedicated to the development and implementation of standards,
technologies innovation and advocacy to improve business processes, reduce
costs and increase productivity for the convenience and fuel retailing industry. In her current role,
Linda has oversight of all day-to-day operations of the organization. In
addition, she advocates on behalf of the convenience industry at
EMVCo, the US Payments Forum (formerly the EMV Migration Forum)
Petroleum Working Group, and the National Conference on Weights and
Measures. Linda also participates inthe World Wide Web
Consortium (W3C), ANSI X9 subcommittees working on payments, and is the
facilitator for the Petroleum SIG at the Merchant Advisory Group (MAG).
