1.00 Elimination of Bias CLE Credit - This presentation will cover the history of the Pretrial Release Initiative in Minnesota and provide updates on the recent MNPAT validation study, the Judicial Council’s decision on revising the tool, and the Implementation Committee’s work to rollout the revised Minnesota Pretrial Assessment Tool (MNPAT-R). The focus of the training will be to provide information about why the changes were made, how to use the MNPAT-R tool/form`, reminders about implicit bias and how the tool intends to address implicit bias, and to have an opportunity for dialogue/Q&A on the tool that went live January 1, 2024, for 82 counties.
