Course Description
Dry eye disease is increasing in prevalence because of an aging population and necessities of modern living (eg, office work and staring at computer screens and other digital devices). Nonetheless, dry eye disease and its effect remain underrecognized. It is important to diagnose and treat dry eye disease because it can affect daily function, quality of life, and outcomes of cataract and refractive surgery. The desired results of this activity are for ophthalmologists to have a better understanding of the epidemiology and consequences of dry eye disease and to use appropriate screening, diagnostic testing, and management approaches.
This continuing medical education activity is jointly provided by New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and MedEdicus LLC.

This continuing medical education activity is supported through an unrestricted educational grant from Takeda.
