Physician Wellness, What to Learn Next: From Self to New Skills and Teamwork

FREE
What might be on your agenda to learn? What is on – or beyond – your horizon? This evening, using data and stories and together in conversation, we will focus on yourself as well as your potential new directions and skills, and your “team”, whether home or profession. You will have time to discover and think about what you love at work and elsewhere; how you are distinctive; and what is piquing your interest in medicine and beyond these days. You will learn about ways to build and keep relationships and how teamwork works. You will come away with specific ways to map your course, recognize and avoid obstacles and assemble and maintain teams. You will have new energy to learn, which, as Merlin said, “Is the only thing that never fails.”

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify current professional, societal and personal issues that must be addressed to maintain good health for physicians and patients.
  • Employ effective ways to find calm and therefore give opportunities to think, plan and make good decisions about patient’s and personal challenges.
  • Identify an array of approaches to and solutions to frustrating or troubling concerns about the care of patients and self.
  • Discover resources to enhance personal, patient’s and even the health care system’s health needs.
