Certified Industrial Interoperability Makes the SOA Business Case a Reality

MESA Webcast: Certified Industrial Interoperability Makes the SOA Business Case a Reality
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 11am EST
Across the industry, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) interoperability dramatically lowers cost between the enterprise, supply chain, and plant operations systems and other manufacturing/production applications. For SOA vision to be successful, the Industrial Interoperability Compliance Institute (IICI) will certify solutions to MOM standards to provide Lean IT systems through common definitions of data and processes. Adaptable global manufacturing is only able to be accomplished through adaptive interoperability of business and manufacturing processes. When industrial systems are truly configurable to produce configurable business process, interfaces, reports, and metrics, a key requirement for adaptive manufacturing and production processes for 21st Century global markets would be accomplished.
