Title: Facilitating Play & Relationships with Young Children (3 to 6 years) and Their Families
Training Series Description:
This workshop will provide a space to explore and reflect on our own experiences with play and the use of self within clinical play spaces. It will also provide an opportunity to explore key elements of play within relationship-based play therapy interventions and facilitate play demonstrations and reflective group discussions. Additionally, the use of vignettes will allow participants to work through some of the more challenging moments with young children and families that include pacing, play patterns, staying within the play, setting limits and balancing the needs of both the child and parent.
