A Collaborative Space for Discussion & Deeper Examination of Foundational Components of Reflective Supervision & Consultation

A Collaborative Space for Discussion & Deeper Examination of Foundational Components of Reflective Supervision & Consultation
Virtual Training Series

This training series will unpack essential components for reflective supervision & consultation (RS/C) that have been foundational in the IMH field. Foundational essential components include regularity, reflection, and collaboration; as well as building trust, importance of safety, and being emotionally present and available. These components have been described in the clinical and theoretical literature for many years. This series will provide an opportunity to discuss these essential components and how we put them into practice within relationships; while we are also considering the impact of race, ethnicity, culture, and other social identities. We will leave space to have conversations about what might be missing or what may need to be expanded upon when engaging in RS/C in diverse settings. As we enter into this space of reflection we will examine the challenges, anguish, and beauty of IECMH work. This series will include breakout discussion and theoretical material. We will offer a ‘hands on’ training that will be co-created to include your lived experiences from the field.
