  • Anna Katsman MD

    Dr. Katsman is a board-eligible pediatric orthopedic surgeon interested in adolescent sport injuries, scoliosis, trauma and hip preservation. She practices at The Pediatric Orthopedic Center in Cedar Knolls and Springfield. After earning her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Katsman completed a fellowship in biomedical tissue engineering to design bone regeneration tissues. She completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Drexel University/Hahnemann University Hospital and a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. She continued her training with a sports medicine fellowship at New York University taking care of athletes in college and professional leagues including the NFL and WNHL. She is trained in physeal-sparing surgical techniques that avoid injury to young athletes’ growth plates to avoid disruption to their normal growth.
