This activity fulfills the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) training standards for medical ethics requirement. The objectives include: describe the history of research ethics; analyze the conditions for ethically acceptable research; and apply ethical considerations to the design and conduct of human subjects research.
