This free training offers an overview of what evidenced-based SFBT is, how and why it works, and provides concrete tools you can begin using it immediately.

Presenters
Teri Pichot, LCSW, MAC, LAC
Teri Pichot, LCSW, MAC, LAC began her career as a psychotherapist over 20 years ago. Teri has worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families distressed by many issues including chronic mental illness, substance misuse, and domestic violence. Teri received her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver, and she went on to obtain licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in addition to achieving the highest level of both state and national certification as an addictions specialist. She also is internationally certified in SFBT through IASTI. Teri is a Delta Society Pet Partner with her canine companions, Rockefeller and Jasper, and she enjoys partnering with them to provide animal assisted interventions to her clients. Teri has designed and implemented innovative programs that utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (with and without therapy dogs) with both adults and adolescents. Teri is also the founder of the Denver Center for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, where in addition to seeing clients, she provides international training and consultation to agencies and professionals. Teri has published numerous journal articles and four books (one of which was translated into Chinese, Japanese, and French), and enjoys working with professionals to help them discover how Solution-Focused Brief Therapy can be effective with "difficult" populations.

- Upon completing the webinar, you will have access to the CE quiz within the course you are taking. Find the CE quiz and click “purchase.” NAADAC members will be prompted to register for the CE quiz for free, while non-members will be prompted to pay a $20 processing fee to access the quiz.
- A score of 80% or higher is required to pass the CE quiz and access your CE certificate. You have 10 opportunities to pass the quiz. If you are unable to pass the quiz in the allocated number of tries, then you must retake the course.
- Upon passing the CE quiz, you will be required to complete the survey evaluation for the course. Once that is completed, your CE certificate will be immediately available to print.
