This webinar will equip you with the tools you need to develop a sound understanding of ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality as it applies to the peer recovery specialist role.
Learning Objectives
  • Participants will be able to define ethics and give at least one example of an ethical infringement in each of the subcategories of: professional, personal, organizational, and legal as it would apply to the recovery specialist role.
  • Participants will be able to summarize the codes of ethics for the recovery industry and the part confidentiality plays in each of the seven key principles governing a recovery specialist.
  • Participants will be able to provide examples of professional ethical boundary violations, and use these as a basis to formulate a personal ethical statement that can be used in their role as a recovery specialist.
