Description
Trauma is structured and cleared in layers. It has neurobiological underpinnings that need to be accurately mapped to be successfully treated. During this presentation, participants will learn the structure of trauma and an evidence-based technique from the field of energy psychology for rapidly clearing trauma from the conscious mind, unconscious mind, and body.

  • Participants will be able to describe the layers of trauma with their components.
  • Participants will be able to use a meridian tapping technique for releasing eliminating traumatic emotions.

Presenters
Judith Swack, PhD

Judith Swack, PhD, originator of Healing from the Body Level Up methodology, is a biochemist/immunologist, master NLP practitioner, certified hypnotherapist, mind/body healer, and visionary leader in the field of energy psychology. Swack is a recipient of the 2015 ACEP award for major contribution to the field of energy psychology. Swack is among the authors of the best-selling book, Success Starts Today, a collaboration of expert advice on achieving success anchored by Jack Canfield. She also authored a chapter "Healing from the Body Level Up" in the industry-defining publication, Energy Psychology in Psychotherapy: A Comprehensive Source Book. Swack works with clients in person and by Skype or Zoom.
Wendy Rawlings, MS, LMHC

Wendy Rawlings, MS, LMHC, of Wendy Rawlings Counseling, is a therapist in private practice for over 35 years. Rawlings counsels adults, adolescents, couples, and children with trauma. She also counsels bariatric clients, veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and their families, and practices collaborative law. She provides counselor supervision, serves on professional organization boards, and is a past president of the Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA).

All Levels
Beginning level courses introduce learners to a content area; include information about a condition, treatment method, or issue; and involve learning and comprehending content.

Intermediate level courses provide information that builds on knowledge practitioners with some experience already have. These courses focus on skill-building or adding knowledge, possibly following a brief overview of basic information, and involve using information in concrete situations and understanding the underlying structure of the material.

Advanced level courses provide content for participants who have been working in the content area and have a clear understanding of the issues. These courses cover and address the complexities involved in the work and involve synthesizing material to create new patterns or structures or evaluating material for a specific purpose.

To earn a CE Certificate for viewing this webinar, you must view the webinar in its entirety, pass the CE quiz, and complete the online survey evaluation.

  1. Upon completing the webinar, you will have access to the CE quiz within the course you are taking. Find the CE quiz and click “purchase.” NAADAC members will be prompted to register for the CE quiz for free, while non-members will be prompted to pay a $25 processing fee to access the quiz.
  2. A score of 80% or higher is required to pass the CE quiz and access your CE certificate. You have 10 opportunities to pass the quiz. If you are unable to pass the quiz in the allocated number of tries, then you must retake the course.
  3. Upon passing the CE quiz, you will be required to complete the survey evaluation for the course. Once that is completed, your CE certificate will be immediately available to print.
