This course will cover syndromic surveillance and Rapid Assessment and Response (RAR). We will discuss how to conduct syndromic surveillance and how the RAR team at NYC DOHMH utilizes real-time data to conduct investigations and design targeted public health responses to drug-related outbreaks.
