Prioritized strategic issues (or goals) facing the organization can be addressed with the development of an action plan consisting of Specific, Measurable, Action Oriented, Realistic, and Timely (SMART) objectives. Each objective will require actions by a responsible person(s) over a specified period of time and evaluated using process and outcome evaluation indicators in order to measure success. The collection of strategic priorities and supporting objectives are the bases of the strategic implementation plans. At the conclusion of the module, participants will be able to:
- Develop SMART objectives.
- Develop action plan.
- Create Strategic Plan document.
