The ongoing performance management process includes frequent feedback and coaching with periodic summary points or performance reviews. When feedback is given on a regular basis, the performance review can be a discussion of results and planning for the future. Without regular feedback it is difficult, if not impossible, for employees to improve. The goal of a performance management process is to improve performance.
At the conclusion of the module, participants will be able to:
- Describe the importance of frequent feedback.
- Implement a process for giving regular feedback.
- Link regular feedback to the performance review.
