Leadership for Older Adult Caregivers

Course Overview
This 4.75 hour course provides a foundation for working with teams to develop and implement quality improvement strategies that will impact quality outcomes for patient populations in the context of leadership in multiple settings that provide care for older adults. Some areas addressed in this course include modeling the way, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act, recognition, financial management, quality assurance and process improvement, and disaster preparedness. This course combines didactic education, case study activities and interactive activities to reinforce learning content.

This course is jointly provided in collaboration with the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE)

Continuing Education Credits
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Completing of this course will earn you 4.75 contact hour(s).

Successful completion of this program requires that all components of this course are successfully completed, including the CE Evaluation and that the post-test is passed with at least an 85%. Contact Hours for this course will be offered through 8/2/2025.
