Expanding Clinical Nurse Specialist Expertise in Implementation Science

Course Overview
This 1-hour course is designed for clinical nurse specialists. Implementation remains the most difficult aspect of introducing and sustaining evidence-based practice changes. This course reviews the history of the CNS as a practice change agent, the emergence of implementation science to address the research-to-practice gap, and how newer knowledge from implementation science can help inform CNS work in translating evidence into practice.
