BRIEFING: Clery Considerations During the Coronavirus Pandemic

As colleges and universities grapple with changes as a result of the growing COVID pandemic, and with many campuses moving toward remote options, questions abound regarding Clery compliance, including issuance of Emergency Notifications when there is a confirmed coronavirus case among college or university community members.
Please join us for a NACUA Briefing with John T. Graff, a partner at Hirsch Roberts Weinstein, and Joseph Storch, Associate Counsel and Chair of the Student Affairs Practice Group at the State University of New York (SUNY), who will walk through unique Clery issues during this challenging time. They will address key Clery compliance topics as well as considerations around the notifications strictly required by the law, versus those that may be advisable or optimal for your campus community.

This 30-minute briefing will be audio-only and will be complimentary to NACUA members.

We understand that several religious holidays are observed during this week. Information about these urgent topics is important to members, and we note that all Briefings are recorded and accessible at your convenience starting 2-3 hours after the live program.
