BRIEFING: COVID-19: Drilling Down on Student Accommodations Specifics

Several weeks into the Fall semester, colleges and universities are encountering a variety of accommodations requests from students, both anticipated and novel. These requests come from those who are living on campus and attending live classes, and those who are completing their coursework online. Students may need modifications to their housing environments, including single rooms, or they may request exceptions to mask-wearing rules or other personal protective equipment guidelines. For those learning in a remote environment, institutions need to ensure equal access to educational materials and resources. Please join us for a 30-minute briefing as Jeff Nolan, Senior Counsel with Holland & Knight, offers a follow-up to NACUA’s popular August webinar to address additional legal issues related to student accommodations in the COVID environment.

This 30-minute Briefing will be audio-only and complimentary to NACUA members.
