On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization upheld a Mississippi law that prohibited abortions after 15 weeks, except in limited circumstances. In so doing, the Court overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pa. v.
