BRIEFING: The Legal Implications of Dobbs for College and University Clients

On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization upheld a Mississippi law that prohibited abortions after 15 weeks, except in limited circumstances. In so doing, the Court overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pa. v. Casey and prompted a number of questions from college and university clients regarding how the Court’s decision impacts students, employees, and institutions with student health or academic medical centers.
Please join us for a 45-minute, complimentary briefing, where 3 expert presenters will:

  • Offer an overview of the evolving legal landscape,
  • Differentiate legal issues in states that permit and prohibit abortions;
  • Discuss how the opinion may impact benefits, curriculum, and the provision of services; and
  • Address data collection, privacy, warrants, subpoenas, and press inquiries.
