Introduction to RepresentationThis session introduces the tax representative to the world of representation. Participants will learn important concepts allowing them to begin representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the IRS structure, important acronyms, and structure of a representation case.
  • Understand how to correctly complete Form 2848 and Form 8821;
  • Describe the importance and core components of an engagement letter.
 
Continuing Education
