Filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request is an important tool in the representative’s toolbox. It can provide the representative with a better history of where the client’s case has been and how to resolve it in the future. This course reviews the FOIA process from start to finish.

Learning Objectives:
●Describe the FOIA request process.
●Explain in what types of cases a representative should file a FOIA request. ●Understand how to file a FOIA request for a client and for a representative’s CAF listing.
