    This course will cover the tax implications of cryptocurrencies, tracing transactions, tax liabilities, and IRS Notice 2014-21.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Describe tax principles of virtual currency
    • Review common issues as detailed in FAQs from IRS Notice 2104-21
    • To understand transactions that may be reported as ordinary income or capital gain
    • Explore IRS sources of information for tracing transactions
