The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) enacted in 2021, imposes new compliance requirements to owners of small businesses. More relevantly, under the broad language of the CTA, Enrolled Agents may be subject to new obligations. This course will analyze the CTA and will identify the critical points relevant to EA’s practice, including how to better assist their clients and how to properly comply with the CTA regulations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify key compliance obligations under the CTA for small business owners.
  • Determine the role of EAs under the CTA.
  • Be able to advise on compliance obligations included in the CTA.
