      George Hunter is the co-founder and managing director of Resonant Financial Management. By utilizing various strategies with clients, George helps improve their investment potential, help reduce financial risk, help preserve their estate for their heirs and help provide confidence for all involved.

      His primary goal is to assist clients in obtaining financial well-being, while helping them manage risk against life’s unforeseen events. As an independent advisor with a holistic approach, he collaborates with elder law attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals to support his clients’ needs. His broad base of knowledge allows him to provide guidance on all phases of their financial planning including accumulation of wealth while working, distribution during retirement. He also provides guidance on the development and implementation of estate plans.

      George graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University.

      George is a father of three children. He lives and works in Columbia MD - where he grew up, and graduated from the Great Centennial High School (go Eagles). He has volunteered as a football, basketball and a track and field coach, mentor, and church volunteer. He’s a past President of the local Habitat for Humanity, and is a founding board member of Neighbor Ride (where Volunteers Drive and Seniors Thrive).

      Wade Zancan is a co-founder and managing director of Resonant Financial Management and serves as an independent financial professional. He’s worked in financial services for approximately 20 years and is committed to helping individuals, families, and business owners manage financial aspects that are most important to them: income, retirement, education, estate preservation/legacy planning.
      He’s worked with plan sponsors (employers) in a variety of industries to design, implement, and monitor their company retirement plans.

      Wade has been a member of the BenchMark Regional Investment Committee. The committee builds and monitors investment portfolio models for financial advisors to use with clients.
      Wade is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Towson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He also holds series 7 and 66 registrations; a life and health insurance license; and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) accreditation.

      Wade resides in Carroll County, Maryland with his family. He’s an active member of his community and enjoys spending time traveling with his family, coaching his childrens’ sports teams, barbecuing, and being outdoors.
