  • Amy Freshman, SHRM-SCP, Senior Director Global HR, ADP

Nearing her 28th year with ADP, Amy has had the fortunate opportunity to hold multiple roles within the same organization and grow her career. Starting at ADP directly out of Bryant University, she spent 17 years in the Sales organization with roles in direct sales, leadership, training, operations and leadership development for ADP’s small business division.

Amy joined ADP’s Human Resources organization in 2012 to lead the Flexible Work Arrangements program. This leadership position managed all aspects of the program including technology enhancements, policy review and revisions, with a heavy focus on engagement to supporting the associates and their leaders with remote work. In July 2017, Amy took on the added responsibility as the Human Resources Lead on all activity related to mergers & acquisitions within ADP. She is the dedicated HR partner leading due diligence all the way through to integration, collaborating with business unit leadership and functional HR teams. In addition to her job-related responsibilities, Amy is repeatedly asked to lead critical, global events across ADP, such as the HR Summit focused on learning and connection for our global HR team members & our annual Month of Wellness for our entire organization providing sessions and engagement activities focused on our associates’ well-being. In February 2021, she furthered her education and achieved the SHRM-SCP certification.

Externally, Amy writes articles, speaks on podcasts and collaborates with colleagues with HR thought leading organizations such as BenefitsPro and HR Morning. In December 2022, along with a dozen HR leaders in the industry, she was invited to be a part of HR.com’s Advisory Board to help drive direction on remote and hybrid work, thought leadership and best practices.
