What happens when a U.S. individual invest in a foreign entity, that is classified as a partnership? This course will discuss the entity election of foreign businesses and will provide a thorough analysis of form 8865. Form 8865 must be filed to report the ownership of a U.S. individual in a foreign entity, that is classified as a partnership. This presentation will provide an in-depth analysis of form 8865 and respective schedules.

    Anuar Estafan's practice focuses on the international tax consequences of cross-border investments, in the planning, transactional, and controversy contexts.
