Course Description
This session will include two case studies, which will help you put into practice the knowledge gained regarding Offers in Compromise in Level 2. We will also discuss guidance released by the IRS related to OICs.

Learning Objectives
  • Expand the knowledge from Level 2 on Offers in Compromise.
  • Participate in two case studies to  learn more about the Offer in Compromise process.
  • Increase the skills used in representing taxpayers before the IRS.

Clarice Landreth, Credentials
Clarice Landreth is an enrolled agent who works at Omni Tax Solutions in Broomfield, CO. She has over 20 years of experience representing taxpayers before the IRS. She is currently the chair of the NAEA NTPI Planning Committee and a current speaker at NAEA’s events and for the NTPI program. She is an expert in tax resolution including Offers in Compromise and Trust Fund Recovery Penalty.

Sarah Fields, EA, Tax Controversy Manager at Rosefelt Tax Law
Sarah Fields is an IRS Enrolled Agent and Tax Controversy Manager at Rosefelt Tax Law.  The firm represents individuals and businesses with serious domestic and international tax and financial issues out of offices in Washington D.C. Metro area, Florida, and throughout the United States.  Sarah has extensive experience in working with IRS and State tax controversy cases daily for clients and specializes in Collection matters.
