This program will discuss taxable and non-taxable gifts, reporting requirements and gift strategies that will help your clients. Topics covered will be taxable and non- taxable gifts, gift splitting, the annual exclusion and what it means, and filing requirements.

  • Determine what information is needed to complete Form 709.
  • Determine where and how different types of gifts are reported.
  • Prepare Form 709, US Return of Gift Tax.
  • Discuss various gift strategies with your clients.

    Francesco delivers estate and trust planning, international and pre-immigration tax planning as well as compliance services, to high-net-worth individuals, executives, and family offices.

    Francesco's more than 15 years of experience includes advising clients on multigenerational tax planning, philanthropic guidance, and wealth preservation strategies.

    Prior to joining Mazars, Francesco was part of the Trust & Estate Tax and International Tax Planning teams at a Big 4 in Los Angeles and New York City for over six years.  He began his career as a tax litigator for primary Italian law firm where he worked for over nine years before moving to the US.

    Francesco has an LL.M. in Internation Tax from University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
