2023 June Quarterly Government Relations Update

IRS’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) plays a critical role for enrolled agents. OPR seeks to support effective tax administration by ensuring all tax practitioners, tax preparers, and other third parties in the tax system adhere to professional standards and follow the law. OPR aims to increase awareness and understanding of Circular 230 and OPR through outreach activities as well as to apply the principles of due process to the investigation, analysis, enforcement and litigation of Circular 230 cases. Timothy J. McCormally will be joining us for the webinar to talk about OPR and the important role it plays for enrolled agents.

Join us for our next quarterly update from NAEA's lobbyists. Gain insight about how NAEA is working to advance the EA industry and get on the ground information about what is happening on Capitol Hill and how it could affect you, your practice, and your clients. You don’t want to miss this update.
