Travis currently serves as Chief Procurement Officer at Texas A&M University-Commerce. In addition to his role as Chief Procurement Officer, he is also an adjunct instructor for the College of Innovation and Design at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Travis holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master of Science in Management from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Travis serves on the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP) and is a member of the E&I Strategic Sourcing Committee and Facilities Strategy Team. In addition, Travis also serves as a member of the Amazon Business Higher Education Customer Advisory Board. Away from the job, Travis is the President of the Board of Trustees for Chisum Independent School District in Paris, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and spending time with family.

Rosey Murton, CPPO, CPPB currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer(CPO) at Florida State University(FSU).In her capacity as FSUCPO she is responsible for oversight of the University’s procurement and contract administration functions. Prior to assuming her current position, Rosey was the Director of Procurement
Services for Wake Forest University and Executive Director of the Illinois Public Higher Education Cooperative, a consortium of the Illinois’ nine public universities and housed at the University of Illinois. She has also served as the Director of University Sourcing at the University of Illinois. Prior to joining the Strategic Procurement team at the University of Illinois, Rosey worked as a Contract Portfolio Manager for the State of Illinois. She also has significant experience in the private sector, including global procurement and strategic planning. Rosey graduated from
the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts as well
as a Masters in Business Administration. Rosey has also served as President of
NAEP (2017-2018). Rosey has served on several collaborative committees
including NAEP’s Board of Directors and Professional Development Committee, the
Committee on Institutional Cooperation Purchasing Committee(CICPC) and the Midwest Higher Education Compact (MHEC) Technology Executive Committee.

NAEP understands from time-to-time circumstances arise necessitating changing or canceling plans to attend events. If you need to cancel your registration to the 2022 Procurement Academy, all cancellation requests must be received in writing by March 18, 2022. Should you need to cancel due to institutional policies, a copy of that policy signed by someone at the institution will need to be submitted. There is a $50 cancellation fee per registration to help off-set administrative costs. Refund requests received after March 18 will NOT be granted a refund. All refunds due will be processed after the academies conclude.
