The Leadership Academy Tier 1 is for early career professionals or professionals new to Higher Ed Procurement. The Leadership Academy Tier 1 focuses on up to 7 learning objectives. The positions that are encouraged to attend Tier I include the Procurement Assistant, Procurement Analyst, P-Card Administrator, Contracts Administrator and Buyer.
The Leadership Academy Tier 2 is designed for mid-level career professionals who manage a program and or people within the procurement department. Objectives of this course focus on intermediate processes for educational procurement. The Leadership Academy Tier 2 focuses on up to 10 learning objectives. Positions that are encouraged to attend Tier 2 include the Buyer, Procurement Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, P-Card Administrator, Procurement Systems Analyst, Procurement Systems Manager, Purchasing Services Manager, Senior Buyer, Commodity Manager, Commodity Contract Manager, Customer Relations Manager, Supplier Diversity Manager, Category Lead and the Strategic Procurement Specialist/Manager.
