Bigler Legacy Library

The National Academy of Neuropsychology is proud to announce that Dr. Erin Bigler, NAN Past President and distinguished Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, has selected NAN as the home for his lifelong body of work in neuroimaging, neuropathology and neuropsychology. This extraordinary digital collection will provide access to CT and MRI scan archives, a 3D Brain Anatomy Trainer, and a guided video tour of postmortem brain images—bringing together an exceptional educational library for the NAN community.

Designed to help neuropsychologists connect brain structure, neuropathology, and neurobehavioral functioning, this resource offers opportunities to explore imaging findings, strengthen understanding of brain anatomy, and deepen knowledge of the neuropathological foundations of neurobehavioral disorders.

How can you use this resource?
Enhance clinical understanding: Explore CT and MRI images to connect neuroimaging findings with underlying brain pathology.
Strengthen anatomy knowledge: Use the 3D Brain Anatomy Trainer to develop a more detailed understanding of brain structures and their relationships.
Learn through visual exploration: Follow the guided video tour of postmortem brain images to gain a deeper appreciation of neuropathology.

This remarkable library will be a lasting educational resource for NAN members and the broader neuropsychology community, supporting learning, teaching, and the continued advancement of clinical neuropsychology.
