CR4-685 Bringing Meditation and Mindfulness into Organizing and Productivity: Strategies for Self-Care and Work with Clients (6-4)

Course Description
Meditation and mindfulness may be trendy, but how do they apply our everyday work with clients? In this no-nonsense, no-jargon, non-religious session, we’ll play with some mindfulness and meditation techniques, analyze the benefits of these practices, and identify potential pitfalls to avoid. We’ll discuss how you might already help your clients achieve a more mindful life, and brainstorm straightforward ways to integrate mindfulness / meditation into your self-care and work.

Learning Objectives

  1. Compare and contrast meditation and mindfulness.
  2. Discuss how and why mindfulness and meditation techniques can improve focus and productivity.
  3. Describe how work with clients can be a mindfulness practice.
  4. Select a meditation or mindfulness practice to explore further, whether for self-care or work with clients.
