Program Overview
The call to action to “Stop the Bullying” epidemic has been primarily focused on STUDENT school‐wide programs. But...what do we do when the bully is another faculty member, supervisor, a fellow nurse, or even a parent? We all have encountered one of these bully personalities: “The “Screaming Mimi’; “The Two‐Headed Snake”; “The Prancing Peacock”; and The Barbed Wire”. This interactive, dynamic and shockingly humorous session will equip school nurses with some never‐seen‐before strategies for detaching, confronting unacceptable behavior and disengaging from power struggles. Each will discover how to utilize proven de‐escalation scripts and will find a sense of resolution... even when the bully refuses to change.
