Program Overview
CDC recently released toolkits for school personnel to use to consider and implement COVID-19 mitigation strategies in their K-12 schools to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 as in-person classes resume in the new year.

Learning Outcomes
As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will be able to:
  • Summarize current COVID-19 data and statistics for school-aged children.
  • Review existing COVID-19 tools and resources for K-12 school personnel.
  • Describe tools that can be used to guide K-12 school personnel through the process of planning and selecting key mitigation strategies for their school.

Intended Audience

This continuing education program is a knowledge-based activity developed to meet the educational needs of registered nurses who are interested in child and adolescent health.
