Program Overview
Town Hall with the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Association (NAPNAP), Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) to provide an opportunity for the 3 organizations members to interact and ask questions regarding the return to school. The focus of the town hall is to provide strategies: for vaccine compliance of routine vaccinations in students, and share science-based resource for COVID-19 vaccines, information to improve infection control programs in schools, and encourage COVID-19 vaccine administration in youth and nurses.

Learning Outcomes
As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners will be able to:
  • To articulate strategies to improve vaccine compliance for routine childhood vaccines and COVID-19 vaccine. 
  • To enhance school infection control procedures to reduce the incidence of communicable diseases. 
  • To understand the rational to protect nurses and clients from COVID-19 through vaccination.
