This webinar is the fourth in a four-part NASN Spring Webinar Series titled " Building the Bridge to NASN2017."

School nurses are often so busy caring for others that they forget to do self-care. This often results in inadequate rest, poor nutrition choices, minimal exercise AND reports of higher levels of stress on the job. Work-life balance and occupational safety issues provide additional challenges.

In this webinar, we will explore tips, tricks and techniques that school nurses can use to enhance self-wellness. Learn about new resources to improve nurse health through the American Nurses Association’s (ANA) Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation™ initiatives including the Grand Challenge. Lastly, we will review school nurse data from ANA’s Health Risk Appraisal.

This 30-minute burst of learning will prepare you for the deeper exploration of the topic at the  NASN2017 Annual Conference this summer in San Diego, California.
