NCS is pleased to announce the continuation of our new Trainee Webinar Series. This live webinar series aims to help prepare all neurocritical care providers - from APPs to pharmacists to physicians - for the transition to independent practice.

Every other month we will invite various guest speakers and panelists to address common issues within critical care practice, along with strategies to manage them.

This lecture will identify the different physician compensation models, practices, and compensation metrics. It will acknowledge specific work-related statutes and regulations pertaining to physicians’ contracts. It will also discuss restricted and non-restrictive covenants and the elements of a physician-employer contract. We will also investigate the principles of RVU, MGMA, and AAMC benchmarks.

  • Atul Kalanuria, MD

    Dr. Kalanuria is a neurointensivist at The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is the current program director for the Penn NCC fellowship program and also directs the medical student clerkship and sub-internship program.

    Dr. Kalanuria is dual board-certified in Neurology and Internal Medicine and is involved in the education of clinical providers in the department of neurology. He also holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Innovation with a keen interest in healthcare operations and is also the current chair of the Fellowship Directors Section of the Neurocritical Care Society.

  • Andy Fadenholz

    Andy Fadenholz is a partner at RosmanSearch. He has been with the firm since 2015, working exclusively in neurology recruitment and consulting. Since the launch of the neurology service line, Andy and the neurology recruitment team have assisted over 400 neurologists in finding a permanent position. On average, they manage nearly 200 neurology recruitments across the United States in all subspecialities at academic programs, community health systems, private practices, and tele-medicine companies.

    Andy received his bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg University in 2012 and completed his MBA at Kansas Wesleyan University in 2014.
