This session is geared towards structural engineers that are
not familiar with AASHTO and are interested in learning more for several
reasons, including preparing for the NCEES Structural Engineering (SE) exam. It
may also help professionals that have to perform bridge related tasks while
that is not their main expertise in the day-to-day activities.
Focus will be in explaining the basic loads that are
different from building codes, including the application of Dead Load based on
their sequence, Live Load, Wind, and Thermal.
